1. Overview & Application Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to the PRA POS mobile application (Android) and the associated PRA POS Live web platform operated by Aazify (“we”, “our”, or “us”). PRA POS is a commercial Point of Sale (POS) and retail billing software solution designed to assist merchants, retailers, and restaurants in issuing sales receipts and synchronizing fiscal invoices with the Punjab Revenue Authority (PRA) in Pakistan.
We are deeply committed to protecting the privacy, confidentiality, and integrity of your commercial data. We do not sell, monetize, or share your business records with any third-party advertisers.
2. Mobile App Permissions & On-Device Usage
The PRA POS mobile application requests only the minimum necessary permissions required for local hardware communication and secure cloud synchronization:
BLUETOOTH_CONNECT and BLUETOOTH_SCAN are used exclusively to discover and send ESC/POS print jobs to paired 58mm and 80mm Bluetooth thermal receipt printers. No audio or non-printer peripherals are accessed.
INTERNET and ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE are used to authenticate user sessions, transmit invoice data to your secure tenant backend, and connect to LAN thermal receipt printers (Port 9100).
3. Information We Collect & How It Is Handled
- Account & Authentication Information: When you log in, we store your email address, role (Owner, Manager, Cashier), and tenant association in encrypted session cookies to keep you signed in securely.
- Transactional & Commercial Records:Product catalogues, inventory levels, sales invoices, item prices, applied tax rates, and optional buyer NTN/CNIC provided for B2B invoices are stored within your organization's isolated tenant database.
- Hardware Preferences: Your configured printer connection type (Bluetooth MAC address or Network IP address), paper width (58mm/80mm), and selected billing terminal are saved locally on your device via SharedPreferences.
4. Punjab Revenue Authority (PRA) Fiscal Data Handling
When operating in LIVE Mode, sales invoices created by registered merchants are transmitted directly to the Punjab Revenue Authority (PRA) fiscal API server to generate official fiscal invoice numbers, Unique Sales Invoice Numbers (USIN), and verification QR codes as required by Punjab tax laws.
5. Security & Data Protection
We employ industry-standard security measures to safeguard your data:
- End-to-end data encryption in transit via TLS 1.3 / HTTPS.
- Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) ensuring cashiers only access authorized terminals.
- Secure session tokens stored in persistent encrypted cookie jars.
- Zero third-party advertising SDKs or analytics trackers embedded in the mobile binary.
6. User Rights & Account Deletion
As a registered user or business administrator, you have the right to review, update, or request complete deletion of your account and personal details. To submit a data deletion request, contact our helpline or email us with your registered organization name and email address.
